'Some'
People Connected with Speleology
|
|
by
J. P. van der Pas et al |
People, Persons, Professors…..
Cavers, Writers and so
on….
with 'some' cave relation.
The coming list is both incomplete and overdone. As always: where are
the borders of a topical collection? Each collector has his own
criteria. It will be impossible to compare a scientist as Racovitza with
a king who just visited a (tourist) cave and made maybe a remark..
This listing (most names have been mentioned in previous SSC's or SI's)
gives probably too many names. It will not go into deep detail, but give
just some note's why this person was mentioned. Many names were reported
by readers of this publication, but some relationship between person and
cave was not always clear. Sometimes very extensive research has been
done but often in vain. All this no-go results are not mentioned here.
Nowadays via internet it is much easier to look into information
databanks, so you can do this probably better then me …..
